Thanks Doc, that's a great point Doc, I've been looking into it for a few months now and it's helped me tremendously with GERD. When I tried Prilosec, I was pleasantly surprised, but I had to try Nexium. Just because I'm not a big fan of Prilosec doesn't mean it's not as effective as Prilosec.

I've been taking Prilosec for over a year now and have had no issues at all. I've tried both generic and brand name versions. However, Prilosec seems to work better than generic Prilosec.
I'm also considering switching to a generic version of Nexium, which is a cheaper alternative to Prilosec.
